building underground home.whats involved?

using metal container approx 16 foot long by 8 foot wide by 2-3 inches thick

i know vent pipes have to be installed..

what kind of flooring should i use..gravel or concrete ..and what the best way to do the plumbing

i plan on having it almost covered up except for the entry way.starting in back about 4-6 inches of dirt to about 3 inches of dirt.until entryway.

i also know pipes with holes will have to be put in to help divert the water.

should i waterproof also or will tar or something else work better?

2-3 inches thick is absurd - you do no longer % as much as a million/2" The airborne dirt and airborne dirt and dust overlaying helps the partitions. Gravel floor is absurd - concrete basically to furnish a point floor and particular to embody pipes and electric powered conduit. you do no longer positioned it in a niche the place water accumulates, you place gravel below to inspire drainage. Sewage is a substantial difficulty as that's gravity pass in maximum places. Underground homes are truly difficulty-loose at present for potential mark downs- study up on line approximately alternatives

You will have moisture problems which will result in mold and mildew. Take it to the bank.
