talking with my dad...?
I have asked this before, but I wanted to get some different people's opinions.
Okay, my dad has given me a "slight" puberty talk before, but I want to now sit down with him and have a "man-to-man" talk. About puberty, my penis, masturbation, and all that. But we are Muslims, and my dad is on the strict side of that, and cares about religion a lot. I don't want to make things awkward with him, and have him go all religious on me... so how do I approach him?

Tell him you want to be a good Muslim and behave respectfully towards women and your future wife, and that therefore you need information that will be useful in the future. Tell him you would rather get correct information from him than incorrect information from other, less respectable people.
If he is incapable of opening up to you, ask some more open minded people in the family. Maybe ask people outside of the family - friends at school perhaps.

Whoa whoa whoa,trust me u shouldn't do that,it will be really awkward and u won't be paying attention if IF he agreed to talk to u about these things,u should talk to ur friends about it,but the bottom lines masturbation is a sin in Islam and is not allowed under any circumstances except if the doctor told u.
