Sony ericsson mobile phone help please?

On the screen a bent arrow with trident like bit has suddenly appeared. Should I be worried or have a turned something on. Thank you in advance

    Hi lynne usually with this symbol it sounds like you've had a missed call check.your missed call list & when you've dine that then it should disappear ... Hope this helps . Sly
