Should i pursue guitar as a career or a hobby?

Should i pursue guitar as a career or just keep it as a hobby? Im 16 in 2months i want to be a firefighter but i have recently found my love for guitar. I picked up a guitar for the first time when i was 9 but didn't really do much or anything i just knew how to strum it, i started playing some riffs in like 5th 6th and 7th grade but didn't know a whole lot. I moved and i had my guitar in storage for 3yrs until the very end of this summer i got it out of storage. I have had it for about 5 months now and since day 1 ive been in love with it, i can already play hot for teacher, Panama, ain't talkin about love, and some of eruption which if you don't know are all by van Halen,i don't know all these songs fully but i can play the main riffs and pieces,(metallica)i can play master of puppets, seek and destroy, enter sandman, one, the solo to fade to black, (acdc) thunderstruck which i can easily play beginning to end, back in black, highway to hell, hells bells full thing, 2 other songs i don't know the name of, i can play sweet child of mine intro, i can play crazy train, i can play rock you like a hurrican, i can play bon jovi dead or alive the whole thing which is one of my fav songs to play, theres is probably anothet 10+ songs i can play that i haven't mentioned like, Alice in chains rooster or black sabbath paranoid, i have actually learned so many songs so quick ive run out of songs that i can think of to learn
