Why wont my credit card go through?

I'm trying to order a shirt from this site: http://www.mixtapesohiomerch.bigcartel.com/

I used my Mom's credit card first, and it wouldn't go through. It says "The card you entered cannot be used for this payment. Please enter a different credit or debit card number."

So I tried using my grandma's card, and the SAME ERROR showed up. I know I'm entering everything in correctly.

My Mom's card does have a PayPal, but she can't remember the password for it.

My grandma DOES NOT HAVE a PayPal account at all, and It shows the same error.

I clicked on the "Don't have a PayPal? use Credit Card"

Can it not be a debit card?

I'm confused, please help

    It's extremely easy to make a paypal account, make one

    Consider asking mom or grandma.

    Or... is it that they don't know you are using their card?
