Best to drink protein shakes after work out?
Like I use Muscle Milk protein powder. And why does it matter to only drink it before, or after your workout? Or before bed? Can't you drink it anytime?

Whey protein is just there so you can get some extra protein in your diet, it doesn't really matter what time you drink it as long as you get the right amount of protein every day.
Whey protein has some good branch chain amino acids, so I guess if you drink it before and after your workout, you'll get some more protein synthesis happening. But, you could just buy some isolated branch chain amino acids for that.

I swim 5 times a week for 2hours and my couch pushes me hard and the best thing that I've ever found is low fat chocolate milk
It doesn't taste like crap and it has most of what the health food shakes have
It's a good recovery drink
