Memory Upgrade. What Did I Do Wrong?
I want to upgrade the memory in an Apple 13" Aluminum Late 2008 MacBook from 2GB to its max of 4GB. The current memory is 2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3. I purchased a 2-pack Corsair 2GB (1x2GB) DDR3 1066 MHz (PC3 8500). After install and power up all I got was plaintive beeping from my MacBook.
What's there a difference between the 1066 and 1067 MHz? Any 1067 memory specs list processing specs of 1066 MHz.

Yes. The 1067 is different frequency, and if the motherboard doesn't work with 1066, then you need 1067. Macs are annoying like that.
