Why does Mother Nature hate Houston so much?

There's a supposed high of 82 degrees F for Monday. Feels more like May in what is assumed to be Fall. Why must we be tortured like this?

Update:

Haha, I'm always amused by your posts, Punk Rock and Minerals. You really, REALLY loathe that cold weather, don't you.

    It is history.

When Houston dated mother nature, he said to produce a tornado in Dallas because they were at war or something. But Dallas was mother nature's BFF. So they fighted. That's how the 1900 Galveston hurricane got started. Mother nature said "I will be back in the year 2008". Houston was so mad that he will kill Dallas. In the late 1950s, Houston dressed up like mom nature. Houston made a destructive tornado at 1957. Mother nature was very very mad. So in the early 2000s, she destroyed challenger. Houston was even madder. So Houston created hurricane Rita in 2005. Hurricane Rita destroyed Houston. That was par of Houston's plan. Everyone now hated mother nature. Then, in 2008, mother nature's promise came. It was to destroy the city of Houston. And she had another plan. It was to spill oil in the gulf. So it happened. Mother nature said it was Houston's fault.

That's why most people hate houston

    Nature doesn't hate you

she is blessing you with lots of wonderful warm weather

it is only gonna be in the low 50's here in New England today, barely tolerable, and nasty cold starting tomorrow

I will gladly trade you my weather for your weather. I know that I am getting the much better end of the deal, because then I would get to enjoy the beach while you are stuck indoors trying your bst to stay warm

Texans are independent, like a fight and a challenge, you guys define what the rest of the USA should be. Mother Nature does this so you dont lose interest.

Texas needs water and good engineering could fix that problem. We need big ideas and action rather than faulting nature or bitching about how bad things are.
