Feelings are both physical (recorded in brain through the in puts from sense organs) and mental (direct mental reaction due to thoughts arising out of events. Examples of physical feelings are, you feel the heat, you feel the cold etc., Mental feeling are the feelings that arise which may go to the next stage of emotions or stop with the feelings stage, depending upon the intensity of the event. For example, when a friend dies, the feeling of sorrow may turn into emotions.

Emotions are the next stage of feelings where the brain or the (heart?) goes deeper into feelings to such an extent as to affect temporarily or permanently the mental and physical faculties. Emotions are very rarely attached to physical feelings and are mostly attached to mental feelings.

Sentiments are those recordings in the brain due to experience or tradtion or culture relating to actions/events that the brain believes will have a meaning or canotation. Sentiments may or may not be meaningful.

Emotions are REAL TIME response to event from heart alone.

Sentiment is response to event or person felt by heart and mind both over a long time.

Feeling is intellectual and often verbal response to emotions.

Emotion:A natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.

Sentiments: manifestation of the higher or more refined feelings.

    Feeling: Showing emotion or sensitivity.

Everything are interrelated! Great question buddy!

"Feelings" is a less specific word. It can refer to emotions, or it can refer to an intuitive guess, or it can even refer to physical sensations somewhere is the body's core.

Sentiments is an old fashioned word that means, to me, the same thing as emotions. Emotions are moods and other emotional responses to what we experience, remember, or observe. (I could NOT think of how to describe the meaning without using the word emotion!)
