Hi,
First check if it is an issue with the speakers, audio controller on the motherboard or the drivers.
Check if the audio drivers are installed properly in Device Manager. To open Device Manager, click Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > System. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager. The audio device should be listed under 'Audio, Video and Game controllers' if the drivers are installed, otherwise, it would show under Other Devices. Check if it has any 'X', '!' or '?' against it.
If there are any bangs, reinstall the audio drivers from the link below:

Make sure that the audio is not muted. You may also check with a pair of headphones or speakers to check if it is an issue with the speakers.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any assistance. I will be glad to help.

Hook up headphones or external speaker to see if there is sounds at all. I have an old B120, with only one of the two speakers still working.
