Why do people shop at Wal-mart?

Exactly. They make as much as Exxon-Mobile and yet treat their workers like garbage. I will never shop there

So, if everyone suddenly stopped shopping at Walmart and put the company out of business, all of the people that would suddenly find themselves out of a job would help the economy and "spread the wealth"?

Because unions have overpriced many things by strong-arming companies. People will go where they can afford to go. The Walton family has earned their money within the law. Spreading the wealth by force is pure evil.

I go to Wal-Mart because it's closest. Me going to HEB instead won't save out economy. republican conservatives will. There are no small businesses around so it can't be helped and I don't trust buying online.

For the same reason that cattle that will soon be slaughtered still nose up to the feed troth,,,,

Because they are hungry and they don't care where the food comes from or what the big meat corporation plans on doing to them

I shop at Target because is cleaner,is not ghetto,friendly employees,more open cashiers registers,good deals, & they also have Starbucks & Pizza Hut restaurant inside the store.

It is sad that people continue to shop there, i know i do not. People shop there because everything is in one place, toys, food, clothes, and electronics. Target is a much better choice honestly, but walmart is always going to be there and people are always going to shop there sadly.

Lower prices. Walmart makes it possible for people to buy things they normally could never afford

Walmart has cheap items and cheap grocery...i could careless about the employees if they dont like their jobs then they should quit
