I'm 16 years old and baseball season and workouts are starting.?

I played at dobyns Bennett as a freshman and then didnt make it as a sophomore. I'm now a junior and I don't know whether or not to go out for the team. I've always been played over except for rec league and the one travel team I've played for for 5 years. Every summer after the season was over the coach would come to my house to make sure I was going to play for him and I knew him really well. Then when I didn't make the if team he didn't even let me play for him! I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO! The coaches are for all the other boys because there at practice in all their expensive Nike and under armour compression gear and I'm there in my realtree under armor or practice shirt. I hit 5 out of 30 balls 315 feet in practice which is a home run but lthat's just me and my dad .the coach never throws me a good one to hit over or the machine hits me! Last year in tryouts we had 3 scrimmage teams all together and I was never assigned to one! What should I do!!!!!! Please help ASAP!!!!!

Work really hard, hit off a tee, play some long toss, hit the gym. I'm really good at baseball, I never practiced but now I do and I became a monster. Just practice, work hard and hustle. Dive for every ball out of reach... coach will like it even if you don't have a chance at catching it. Don't worry about gear, just focus on doing good, but remember not to try too hard. Hell, you've got a big school. Do good and you might get some of that gear free. Sorry if it was out of order, hope this helps you!

First of all, dont listen to someone who tells you how amazing at baseball they are, their is always room to improve. Work hard to go until you cant go no more! A couple things that are really important is a strong arm, a strong core and strong legs. That will help you really chuck the baseball and he wont have any other option but choose you!

Strong arm- Long toss, and get some therabands and look up the JOBE exercises, do those with light weights and the theraband and that will make your arm strong, DO light weights not heavy

Strong core- 200 crunches every other day. going 50-50-50-50 and work hard at it with proper form.

Strong legs, Lots of lunges and squats and do some leg raises

work hard and you will succeed
