Is my budgie a boy or girl?
I have a 4 year old budgie that had a pinkish blueish cere. I am confused whether it is a boy or girl. I have always thought my budgie was a girl, but can someone tell me please? Thanks.

Light pink or clear is associated with a female. A dark blue or purple cere is associated with a male. You can't accurately tell the sex until the bird is an adult. I have had one that looked like a male and then turned out to be a female when she matured.
Another way to judge is behavior. Males sing, while females are typically quieter, but "grouch" more.
