Buy a prepaid phone such as boost mobile $55 a month plan unlimited talk, text, and internet no limits to your data plan they have cool smart phones too. Virgin mobile $35 a month no contract 300 minutes talk, unlimited text , and unlimited web. Net 10 $50 a month no contract unlimited talk, unlimited text, and unlimited internet. Web, data, and internet mean the same thing. Boost mobile is great they have fast 3g since they run on sprint towers. Virgin mobile has cool new phones and run on sprint towers too. Net 10, rumor has it they run on old Verizon towers that are under Net 10 control. All these prepaid are cheap and offer great phones that run 4g and 3g where some run 4.0 ice cream sand which software which are very advanced. I'm sure your wife will love a smart phone where she has no limits to her Facebook and etc. Your son might too but if you are concerned. With Facebook boost mobile has plans to block internet just visit a local boost mobile store. Same goes for your type of plan. Boost mobile has easy activation and there are a wide variety of plans to choose from. Stores that offer boost mobile k-mart, best buy, and target. Note Kmart may be limited to a few 3g phones.
Source(s): I've used prepaid phones. I'm 16 and I need unlimited EVERYTHING. Currently using Kyocera hydra, great phone, under boost mobile using the $55 a month plan great company. - 8 years ago
To share among 3 people... Way to little. I am one person, and checking facebook, Twitter, email, or whatever periodically throughout the day uses 250 mb easily. If you're trying to stay cheap, I recommend 2 gb. If you are careful, you could possibly get away with only 1. But you have to constantly monitor it.

The 250mb is strictly for internet utilization on your cellular telephone utilising the 3G cellular community. in case you utilize Comcast from domicile, it merely isn't counted in the direction of the 250mb. 250MB is an extremely low volume, you will purely have sufficient to income your emails and skim the internet each and every so in many cases. sidestep staring at Youtube video clips or downloading purposes over the 3G community.
