Mazda 3 - Is it any good?

The other day I looked at a 2012 Mazda 3. Does anyone recommend it or not recommend it?

    Yes the Mazda 3 is a very good car. I don't know what you are looking for in a car but I can tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt, you somehow stumbled into one of the best engineered cars on the road, from some of the brightest talent in the car world, bar none.

    Yes, I worked at a mazda dealer for 14 years. I know the vehicles very well! I drive one myself... Very reliable!

    Just about every automotive journalist and car magazine recommends it over all other compacts, including the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic.
