if i buy a phone from at&t can i use it on Verizon ?
i only ask this because i told my brother that i was going to get a iphone 5 because my att phone contract is up for a renewal and that why i was getting a iphone 5, but my brother told me that he might trade his iphone 5 a 64gb one for a samsung galaxy s3 and so he asked if the samsung galaxy s3 att phone work on verizon and i asked him whys that and he told me that since he got a iphone 5 he told me at work he get no service there. i would like to know will a att samsung galaxy s3 version phone work on verizon service since he is thing about switching services?
the only reason i ask this is that i get a iphone 5 64gb and i would be like saving $200 if i did this

NO, ATT & Verizon phone are not compatible, ATT uses GSM netowrk while Verizon uses CDMA network.

Only if you jailbreak the phone which voids any warranty on it and isn't entirely a good thing. I wouldn't have any idea how to do it, but you could try to find someone if you really wanted to.
If you did do that, there are a lot of errors that could happen, just so you're warned.
