Main Sequence question?

Sorry for asking a serious question on here for a change but can anyone give me a concise to the point explanation for the shape or locus of the main sequence curve on the HR diagram. In particular the reason for the levelling out section in the central region.

If it is a diagram than it has a legend and tells you everything already. If you don not see it then check othe diagram, maybe somebody forgot something.

Ps: Next time show it some how or offer more data.

On the graph, spectral type (color and temperature) are plotted horizontally, and absolute magnitude is plotted vertically.

Bright stars are at the top of the diagram. dim stars at the bottom. Hot stars are on the left, cool ones on the right.

The central band, or Main Sequence are stars that are in the actively burning hydrogen phase of their lives.
