...you need to get out an exercise. That's not a healthy lifestyle. You won't get tired if you just sit inside everyday on the computer. If you drink over 1 cup of coffee per day it can keep you awake and give you insomnia over time.
Also, televisions and computers create horrible insomnia. That's why doctors suggest turning it off 2 hours before bed and instead do something to "wind down". I find writing in a journal helps me get really sleepy. Turn the light on low as you are writing. Try drinking herbal tea. A classic remedy is drinking warm milk heater up in a pot or pan. It puts me out like a light.
If you have too much unused energy go for a brisk walk or run for 30 mins - 2 hours at some point during your day or evening or morning. just get the exercise in.
If you are really desperate to fall asleep...drink 2 or 3 vodka coolers lol..it works but I only do that if I have been unable to sleep properly for along time.

The artificial light from the computer screen (and even your phone) can reduce melatonin (the sleep hormone) production in your body.
Try taking a melatonin suppliment. I take 1mg melatonin on nights that I can't sleep and it works like a charm! The only downfall to taking melatonin is that if you take it every night your body will get used to it and you will have to increase how much you take. I try to only take it occasionally.
I also love hot tea containing camomile to help me relax. Sleepy Time Tea with honey is wonderful. :)
