Long distance relationship with age gap?
I am 14 and just recently entered a relationship with a 19 year old guy (turning 20 in december).
I've known him for over a year after we met on a live stream of a concert. We are planning to meet in about a year and a half for a special event im attending in washington. I'm from California, he's from Washington state.
He has no intention to talk to me sexually and constantly makes sure that nothing inappropriate is exchanged between us two.
I'm best friends with his band mates and we have spoken over webcam a few times and we text every day. I genuinely like him and I am wondering if this is legal even though he is an adult (though I knew him since he was a minor) and non sexual.

As well as you think might you know this guy, I think you may be horribly mistaken.
If he doesn't talk to you sexually, it likely because he is sexually active in reality and has no need to be that way with you. He is almost 20 years old. And if he is neither speaking to you sexually or sexually involved with someone else, then he is likely just not interested in you like that.
No, it is absolutely not legal for you and him to be an item. If you did date him, you would have to wait another 2 years, WITH your parents' consent, to be involved with him sexually. And any good parent would say absolutely not. So then you'd have to wait another 2 years to be an adult and be with him.
Honey, it is just not worth it. If you did peruse a relationship with him and he got caught, he would go to jail! My best advice is find a boy who is close to you, and forget about this guy.
You should not plan to meet someone that you only text and sometimes talk webcam with. You know nothing about him! He could be with another girl any time you're texting him, he could be a sexual predator for all you know! Please, please, please. Stay away from this guy.
