Rush should have played at the 100th Grey Cup Half Time Show!?

Being the first Canadian rock band to have a lot of success in Canada (and outside), being local, their fans are adultes, it would have work better then what we had! What do you think?

There's a reason why the likes of Carly Rae Jespen and Justin Bieber were on the half-time show; there contemporary artists who the common man/woman on the street has heard of, and are popular now.

Although his music is really not my cup of tea, having the Bieb there was a big coup for the CFL, and his mere presence gave media coverage and twitter trending to the CFL, a league which often doesn't get the respect it deserves. It can only be a good thing, and the early ratings data are already showing signs of that.

TSN knew exactly what they were doing putting Justin Bieber in at Half time. I agree they couldn't of picked a worse performer to play at a football game but keep in mind he's from the area and is the 2nd most popular pop star on the planet right now. You can be sure that TV ratings went sky high at half time with millions of preteen girls tuning in. Rush wouldn't even come close to having the same effect.
