Do you agree or do you not?
Thou shall not kill is probably one of the biggest commandments to follow. But people are sentenced to death. I believe although they certainly do deserve it, it's not right to kill another human being, no matter how bad they done to another. It's not our right to judge them to death. Yes, if some guy raped and tortured and gave my daughter a brutal death, I would want the bastard to die, but it's not my call to say so. Or if a person killed many people, it's still not our call to sentence them to death. Thou shall not kill. Instead of putting them through death, why not let them suffer in jail. I know I probably would get negative comments on here, but it's how I feel and wonder if there's any out there that feels the same?

I agree. Some people deserve to die, but no one deserves to be allowed to kill them. Moreover, at least in the US, our justice system is so broken that we're better off getting rid of the death penalty entirely.

The only ones who should kill are those who are prepared to be killed. We as human beings need to solve our own problems as a society and that means that it is right to judge if someone dies or not based on logical discussions and reasoning.

Jesus christ has a time for every person in this world so if someone is sentenced to death it would be in God's hands

disagree
"kill" is an improper translation....... it should be rendered "Murder"..... ..... Murder is the premeditated killing of another human being without just cause.......
There is no prohibition, in The Word and Will of God, against killing animals for survival.... or against killing in self defense, or the defense of others............ and the execution of a Murderer is acting in the defense of society as a whole....... and is no more than taking out the trash........

the religion Islam says, "the murder of one human being is the murder of whole humanity" and it also says, "the one who rapes should be buried half in earth and killed with stones." Islam says bloodshed for bloodshed. I definitely do not agree with you.
