Why can't I buy a horse in the sims 3?
I'm very disappointed at the sims 3 when I clicked on the equistren center it wouldn't let me buy a horse because my household was full when I only have 7 sims and a cat I thought you could have more than 1 pet!
I tried going to edit a household and it still told me that the household was full
It's the pc version and I actually bought the game

click on the menu where it has save, quit, etc. go to edit town, then click create a household. just ignore the default sim, just proceed on making your horse, dog, or the cat. after youre satisfied, delete the default sim (if you dont want the sim and just want the pets) then ignore the message that pops, just click check. when youre done, you will go back to the edit town. now click on the pet household you just made then click on your current household, the one that has a green house logo in it. then click merge :)

What platform are you playing on? With the PC game, you can have up to ten total Sims (human and pet), but I would imagine the console game would allow fewer Sims, like maybe eight total.
