when i was young my parents set up a checking and savings account for me.
i am almost 22 and am starting to have problems with my parents, so I would like for the accounts to only be accessible to me....it's my money that I put in there from my job.
is there a way to get their names remove from my checking and savings accounts?

The easiest way is to open new accounts in your name only and transfer the money to the new accounts.

No your parents have to close that account and have the funds transferred to a new account that YOU open yourself.

Kay, I suggest you call the customer service department at your bank. They know their bank's policies and procedures better than people on Yahoo.
