Is this the correct answer for my math equation?

On one of my tests in Algebra it said to simplify this problem: 6n^2 - 4m^2 - 2n^2 + 9m^2

I'm not very good at this, so I got: 4n - 13m^4

My teacher wrote this as the right answer: 4n^2 - 15m^2

What I don't understand is how she got 15. Any explanation for this please?

    (6n^2 - 2n^2) + ( - 4m^2 + 9m^2) = 4n^2 + 5m^2, answer!

    6n - 2n = 4n

    9m - 4m = 5m

    So its (5m + 4n)^2
