Why does the guy I like ignore me?!?

I don't know if he hates me or something, I'm so confused.
There's this guy I really like, and we get along great, we have a lot in common, I have friends who are girls who hang around him, so sometimes I go at sit with them at lunch or whatever so I can also be around him, but he just has been ignoring me completely lately, he's more interested in throwing food at his guy friends or something.
The only chance I've been getting to talk to him is in this one class we have together, and lately he hasn't even been talking to me then, I'll just try to start a conversation and he'll be cold and brush me off.
I don't know why, I think he might hate me, he has no reason to, I was thinking that maybe it was because we were talking about different video games and I said Minecraft was an awful plotless mind-numbing game and that he should download a N64 emulator and play cool games like GoldenEye or F Zero, I think maybe that's why he hates me, he really likes Minecraft. >_>
I really don't get why he's being like this, or why he doesn't like me, we both have a lot in common, he thinks I'm funny and whatnot, I'm not unattractive either (I actually get called attractive a lot), so I just don't understand.
What do you think it is?

You don't say how old you both are, but maybe he is not ready to have a girlfriend.  If he has had girlfriends before, then it may be that he likes you as a friend and if he thinks that you like him in a different way, this may be his way of getting that point across to you.  This doesn't mean that anything is wrong with you. You can be beautiful and an awesome person, but not the right one for him.

I'd recommend just being friends for now. Don't try hard to make him like you. Just be yourself ...if he doesn't like you in that way, it's his loss.

play minecraft somemore it gets way better on personal servers such as there hunger game servers that frigen rock theres like 100 people kiling eachother im always in the final 12 anyways just tell him that you where wrong about minecraft and tell him what ever he would want to here h=men dont like hearing i love you from wome unless they ask for it besides me i hvae to ask my gf to say it :P she's not cheating on me <.< i hope >.> o.o >_< anyways back on topic just let him hear what he wants to hear
