Car leaking antifreeze. Please help?

Hi, I've got a 2001 Ford Escort zx2 and it's been leaking antifreeze. I took it to the mechanic and they replaced my water pump, but now it's leaking from somewhere else. (Please refer to picture) It's leaking from the center of my car towards the front. The leak seems to be coming from right next to the oil tank. My question is, can I drive it home which is 30 miles away with it being okay? Should I fill the reservoir AND the radiator while it's cold to get it to my mechanic? This leak has happened over the course of the week by the way. Will my car leak faster while I'm driving it? Thank you

Update:

And also, judging by the picture, does anyone know what could be the problem?

There is a plastic housing on the side of the head. If you are standing in front of the car, it will be on the right hand side. There should be a couple of sensors in this housing. If the plastic gets brittle, and has a crack in it, or the gasket (or o-ring) is bad, it will leak. Another thing it could be is that there is a plastic tube that is above your radiator that three hoses hook to. Hope this helps.

I think the mechanic put something back together wrong. If I had to guess I would say the lower radiator hose is not fully seated on the water pump. I have an Escort and this hose is a booger to get back on. They will need to remove the timing belt cover to check it.

Do not dump any cooling system dealer in the system. It will plug the heater core and radiator way before it stops a leak when parts have to be replaced to fix the problem for good.

Local car accessories shop ask them for some radiator sealant that you pour in to the rad, you may need to drain some water off the rad(iator) to get the correct amount in.
