Can I condemn the anti-theft of the computer module (BeCM) of 1995 Range Rover?

The anti-theft of the computer module (BeCM) of 1995 Range Rover with a BMW diesel engine is giving me problems.Started when I got a drained battery. Now, I got the engine disabled message and can't start the engine. It doesn't have a code as mentioned in the net. Tried the EKA in vain. I'm in an island 500 km away from the dealer. My air suspension has already been converted to coil springs after all. I also want to engage the low gear option but again it passes the BeCM. Can I not just make the car run with out the computer and just use a simple switch, just as they did in the good old days!

No. It controls much more than the immobiliser.

Often the cause is another transmitter on the same frequency as the remote. This causes the system to power up ready for the code flattening the battery.

There is a different receiver that fixes this. I believe you can find this on Ebay.

Converting off air suspension can cause all sorts of computer issues and why would you? Air suspension has so many advantages and is not difficult to fix.

If this has not been done correctly then this will upset the computers as well.

The car is completely computer controlled as are most modern cars.
