How do I find duplicate photos on my computer?

I have thousands of photos on my PC & I just noticed that a lot of them are duplicates. Is there a way to find & delete the duplicates?

There's a number of free duplicate file finders for JPGs (JPEGs) - this page has a sort of list

I use Duplicate Cleaner from http://www.digitalvolcano.co.uk/content/duplicate-...

Go grab PhotoSort and you will not regret it.

    http://www.photosort.net/

It beats everything else hands down and it will find you not only exact duplicates but photos that are also similar. It is so nice! I highly recommend it.

Hi,You can search for .jpg format in the search bar of your windows.then in the results window, right click , go to group then choose group by name.again right click go to sort and then sort by name.then the duplicates will just arrange in a row and its easy to delete extra ones.

perhaps what you're seeing is the photograph and its thumbnail. maximum photograph apps create a thumbnail of the percentin order that it could directly demonstrate a small version of the %. basically forget approximately approximately them.
