Do you think it's shallow if a bisexual man exclusively wants to marry a woman?
So, I go on dates and hang out with a bisexual man where there is mutual attraction and compatibility but when I asked him if he would ever marry a man, he said he would only marry a woman. Of course I didn't want to keep prodding him so I stopped at that and he could've meant something else by it, but if he did just want to marry a woman, but had mutual attraction to both men and women equally, could have compatibility with a man and could also follow out sexual actions with a man to pleasure himself, would you consider this person shallow?
Gay marriage being legal in the area, and shallow being because he looks to marriage and a life-long relationship as one to be carried out as a woman to have babies with and not considering these things with a man. I don't know why he wouldn't, but since we are only so far into this I don't want to ask him yet if this stuff pursues on.

Let me say one thing about Bisexuality. It is not an excuse for infidelity or dishonesty. Therefore if you are truly bisexual - fine it definately exists and I know plenty of people both male and female who have gone on to have successful monogomous relationships knowing this. However do not mistake assumed bisexuality for confusion over sexuality. You are right that sometimes our level of attraction towards male and female can slide up and down the scale. However if you have met someone you truly want a relationship with then you need to talk to thme openly and honestly about the way you feel. At the end of the day you owe it to her and yourself to be honest. It is possible for all sorts of relationships to work, but the bedrock of any relationship (however painful or difficult it may be) is honesty!

Not really. Most bisexuals are more attracted to one gender over the other... If he is bisexual and has a stronger attraction to women then that would not be hypocritical.

Is gay marriage legal in your area? If not he just means he wouldn't be able to.
And it's not shallow. If what you say is true it's classified as "selfish".
