Will Colin Kaepernick be the 49ers starter for the rest of the season?
All my fantasy team needs for me to win another championship is a good QB. My other 2 quarterbacks are Philip Rivers and Josh Freeman but neither of them have been doing very good lately. Do you think if I stick with Kaepernick for the rest of the year I'll have the best chance of winning in the playoffs or should I use Rivers or Freeman once the playoffs start. I have Foster, Martin, and Charles at RB. WR are Green, V. Jackson, Hartline, D. Moore, and Floyd. TE Graham and Gresham. K Bryant and HOU Def.

Kaepernick will start for week 13, for sure.
Deal is, Harbaugh will take him out after he shows signs of weakness. Smith was playing very well. So really, as long as Kaepernick plays well he'll start. And he's a great player, and underrated fantasy QB

I suppose for Alex Smith. He is getting "Wally Pipped" in the city by using the Bay. However from Harbaugh's viewpoint, I agree with his decision wholeheartedly. He is rolling with the scorching hand. How are you going to go towards a man who has a discipline day against THE first-rate ball hawking defense of 2012? Significantly, after that efficiency, how are you going to or anybody convince me Alex Smith gives that staff a greater chance to win? Smith is decent however he doesn't have the instruments that Kaepernick brings. With Kaep, you are equipped to name extra aggressive performs and his accuracy past 10 yards is superb next to Alex. The 49ers received quite a lot of shut, one possession games under Smith that would in no way have gotten to that point if management had any self belief in Alex to let free and take a hazard. You wouldn't have that challenge with Kaep. Up to this point, Smith nonetheless had a first-rate 12 months and he'll make for some tempting alternate bait. But I need to wonder: is this the final we will ever see of him as a starter? I suppose like he might be the next Matt Flynn. Don't forget when Flynn came in and threw 400+ yards towards the Lions and lost his job to rookie Russell Wilson when Seattle obtained him? Whoever DOES decide on up Alex Smith remains to be, in all probability, going to draft a QB, and it would not shock me in any respect if that rookie outperforms him in camp.

Harbaugh has stuck his neck out on this one so unless C. K. lays an egg, he will be the starter. I would keep Freeman and C.K. and drop Rivers. I do not trust him and his match ups are not that great with Cinn/Pitt/Car/Jets. Freeman has two juicy plays vs. Philly and N.O. in weeks 14/15 then rams in Superbowl. C.K. plays Miami, N. E. and in Seattle in Superbowl. Not too shabby for the playoffs!

Yes, I think Kaep is the starter for the rest of the year, and you can't really go wrong there.

I think so, Harbs wants kaep to start, but somewhere deep down in his heart he feels for alex smith, thats why he wont fully commit.
