Poll: Why do people put "Poll:" in front of their questions?

    I guess they want to remind you that they are conducting a poll.

    I think it's because if you don't, you have to manually look for the category polls and surveys when posting a question. When you put poll in front of the question, it automatically chooses polls and surveys as the section to post the question to. It saves time.

    So people know it's a poll. And so they don't have to scroll through the list of suggested categories, it goes to p&a automatically instead.

    because you have to have so many letters to ask a question and sometimes poll or survey gets you there

    I do so it automatically suggests polls and survey for me

    So the report trolls can't report it and get it removed. Otherwise, the question will get attacked by them.
