Is it weird that I feel really comfortable around gay people?
I am a straight guy, but I have always felt really comfortable around gay guys. I think that it is because when I'm around women (especially attractive women) I am always self concious about how I look because I may want to go on a date with them etc. With gay guys, I can joke around and stuff, and i'm not worried about dating them or anything. It only gets weird if they start to like me.
@Luka... To say that someone is gay because they are not homophobic is extremely ignorant. Thanks for the comment though haha

that is normal you get nervous around girls because maybe you think because the are beautiful they will reject you but with guys you can act like yourself around them

Seriously, its great you're comfortable (although I think it would be rude of you to freak out if a guy ever actually liked you- you should treat it with the same respect you would if a girl liked you but you didn't feel the same for) but we aren't another species. There is more to us than being attracted to our own sex. We're people with different personalities just like everyone else.

Just be careful because according to them all men are gay, so watch out, lay down with dogs you will get up with fleas, or even worse

no. it just means you don't judge people based on their "label" but who they are as a person. there should be more you's lol
