Which would be a better oil filter the ac delco or the wix?

I have a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado. The GM products uses the ac delco. I have used Fram for many years but some friends of mine has had problems with them I plan on using the AC delco or the Wix and would like to know which would be better. Thank you

I always recommend going with what came on the vehicle from the factory. That way you don't run into trouble such as with using FRAM oil filters. The FRAM filters turned out to be too restrictive for some makes and would cause valve lash adjuster/hydraulic lifter noise. WIX on the other hand makes a quality filter which I used for many years while working at a friends garage. I'd still prefer OEM but in this case either will be fine.

The AC Delco will be your best bet because they will have the correct check valve inside that many of the newer vehicles require.
