I'm going to jamaica?

Okay so I'm going to Jamaica for Christmas this year with my father and older brother (I'm 18) and we will be staying at one of those "rich people resorts" but what should I bring? And wear? I just have no clue what I'm getting myself into! Thanks:)

Looking at the weather right now in Montego bay you will want to have a light jacket or sweater for the late evenings. Depending on the resort you will also need to take "dress" slacks for the evening both for the dining and to stay warm. Other then that, shorts, swim suits and short sleeve shirts. I always take two sets of water shoes so one can dry out some as I ware the others. LOTS of sun tan lotion and use it every hour even if your not going to be "in the sun" but in the shade.

Remember, winter there is like a very nice summer day a lot of places in the states.

Rich people resorts can be more formal than casual resorts. Half Moon Resort had the queen of England and Prince Harry stay there, so the people that stay there dress more conservatively. Beaches and Breezes are way more casual. Wear swim trunks everywhere and be prepared to get picked on by higglers if you go outside of the resort.

"rich poeple resorts" is just another sentence for "cheap but decent tourists resorts".
