    4*sqrt(a) = sqrt(4a + 27) square both sides

    16a = 4a + 27

    12a = 27

    a = 27/12 = 2 1/4

    16a=4a+27

    16a-4a=27

    12A=27

    A=27/12

    A=9/4

    4√a=2√a+27

    4√a-2√a=27

    2√a=27

    √a=27/2

    squaring,,

    a=729/4

    a=182.25

    First one, sq. each little thing and the 4 exterior. Leaves you with this: 4t-7 +sixteen=9 2nd one could have this after squaring the two facets: 5x-7=3x+3 ----- 2x-7=3 ---- remedy for x
