How do I remove empty space from MP3 files?
I have several MP3 music files that have a lot of empty space in the beginning and the end of the song. I would like to have around 450 milliseconds of empty space in the beginning of the song, and 2 seconds at the end. Up to this point, I was using a program called Music Editor Free. It has the ability to eliminate the empty space, but I want a program that allows you to type in how much empty space you would like to have. Every program that I have seen requires you to manually move a line up to the point that you want deleted and then pressing Delete, but I find this to be very time consuming. I really need a program that is easier to work with.

TrimPro is expensive, but it does its work in a batch file. I don't know if you can add silence, it's designed to REMOVE silence. Anyway, check out the "related" links at the bottom of the search phrase.
