Facebook issue...please help?

So, I don't have a facebook account. I don't approve of their policies, I think it's a huge waste of time and I have a social life.

Now someone seems to have set up an account in my name and I don't know what will be posted on there.

I have a job, who knows what could be posted and somehow make it to the desktop of my boss?

How do I contact facebook, not having an account myself, proving that the facebook "me" is an imposter.

I refuse to send them a scan of my passport, because that means they will propably own my identity.

Any suggestions?

You can't directly contact them... but you can ask your friends who uses/have facebook to report that user...

How do you know they have your personal identity? Just because they are using the same name as you, doesn't mean that it is mimicking you! There are probably thousands of Steve Jackson's or Michael Smith's around the world. Now if they have your personal information like where you went to school, where you work, and photos of you, then someone has possibly stolen your information.
