My sister is in a abusive...?
My sister is in a abusive relationship. how can I help her get out of it? Is there a hotline number I can call to help get her out of this relationship? She has a baby too. And I want to help her get out of it so my nephew doesn't see that growing up =(

1-800-799-SAFE is the free, confidential, 24/7 national domestic violence phone number.

Be careful this is a delicate situation And if you involve the wrong people she could end up losing her baby. I would just try and talk to her and let her see how this is affecting her baby. Let her know that it is in her babies best interest to get out before someone calls the cops or something from when they hear the abuse happening because that does happen.

Police, local county court house and make a complaint or restraining order. Free with a fee waiver. Ive been there. Goodluck to your sister and make sure you or she does not tell the abuser anything.

Thing is, you cannot make her do anything. She will not leave and she will not get out until she is ready to. If you suspect that her partner has hit her in front of the child, you can call child protective services, and maybe they can convince her to choose either her partner or her child. Hopefully, she will choose the child, but that's no guarantee.

If you can get your sister to make a complaint to the police then it should all be taken care of.
