Can i take the prepaid sim out of my samsung galaxy mini II and transfer it to a simfree iPhone 4S?

Basically, i'm getting an unlocked iphone 4s for christmas and on my existing galaxy mini II's sim card its filled with many contacts and some great, memorable texts on it and i don't want to lose them or bother having to re-add my contacts :( But here are my quick questions...

1-I'm not weak but i can't seem to take the sim card out of the galaxy mini II??? Does this have to do with it being "locked" to vodafone?

2-If i do get the sim card out (and cut it down to size for a micro sim) can i put this in my iphone 4s to start using it right away?

3-My galaxy mini II will be passed down to my younger brother as its only 4 months old. But if the sim card is out of the Mini II, then can he just buy another vodafone prepaid sim and insert it into the mini to use it? I know for sure the t-mobile prepaid sim in his flip phone won't work.

thanks guys! :D

In theory, yes it will work perfectly. But there's been some controversy on the whole "cutting the sim". But to get the SIM card out, usually they will have a mechanism type of thing. Look it up on YouTube and it should show you. :)
