Is it safe for 5 week old puppy to be around vaccinated dogs?
For starters, its not my 5 week old puppy. My best friend took her in after the mother died giving birth and all the other puppies dies as well. She has missed a lot of classes devoting all her time to take care of her, but she needs to start catching up I, offered to watch her puppy while during her classes. I have two dogs though, an 8 year old adult who is caught up on all her vaccinations and a 5 month old puppy who also has all her vaccinations but
her rabies shot which she can't get until she is 6 months. I was just wondering would it be safe for her puppy to be around my dogs? They aren't going to get any close up contact with her but I just need to know so I can take precautions so her puppy doesn't get sick. Thank you! :)

Yes, it should be fine as long as they're up to date.
The first answer stated that the dogs could tract parvo infected particles in, which is true, but you or your friend or any human could also track parvo in. Make sure they aren't dirty, but it should be fine.
Since this puppy hasn't had the normal interaction with her mother or littermates, interaction with other dogs will be beneficial, if not vital, to her healthy development.
If one of your dogs is really good with her, it may be a good idea (if you can) to allow the dog to stay with your friend for a few weeks to help the puppy learn important "dog things". (The older dog would be great, if she interacts well with the puppy).
