My dog had a seizure?
This morning my dog was really weird. He was okay when I went outside but after I went to look at him through the window and he was like drooling and wouldn't respond when I called him. Then he like ran to the wall and laid there shaking and like twitching alot.
It stopped after like 30 seconds.
I looked it up and it was a seizure.
The night before today he was on my bed normal and y dad was going to take him to the garage because he sleeps there and I guess browny didn't want to go so he tried biting my dad and he got mad so he hit him with the broom in the head and I was so sad because my dog was crying. So I think that's the reason.
I want to take him to the vet but he's not registered and my parents wouldn't want to because since he's old and it's getting closer for him to pass away. So they say its a waste of Money. He's starting to drool again so maybe he's going to have another one :(
So please tell me if there's another way I can get him back to normal or if there is anything else I can do.

If your dog has more than one seizure a month, or if you think it is related to a head injury, you absolutely need to get this dog to a vet. Old age is not an excuse not to take a dog to a vet, it's actually a reason that a dog needs to go to a vet more frequently. Please try to find someone to help you get this dog to a vet.

You need to get an adult to help you get the dog to the vet so he can be humanely killed. This dog is in absolute misery and his brain is turning into pudding. If no one has money for the vet, you get an adult to help you take him to the shelter or subsidised emergency vet and tell them you can't afford to pay for an euthanasia, but your dog is suffering and needs one.
If none of this is an option, call animal control and tell them about the abuse and how the dog is suffering. Animal Control doesn't mess around with this kind of neglect and abuse.
And your parents should never ever ever be allowed to own another animal.
Something about this doesn't smell right, but I'll answer anyway in hopes that it helps others one day.

My dog did that and when I took him to the vet the tests they did indicated he was diabetic. After that when the symptoms started we were told to give him a tablespoon of karo syrup to raise his bloodsugar. You may be able to call the vets office. Sometimes the DVM or a Nurse will talk with you. It may be worth a shot since going for an office visit isn't an option. So sorry for your fur baby :( best wishes to you both

* cry * I love dogs. Anyway, sadly, there is nothing you can do is except make sure he does not lay all the way on the floor, make sure he is on his side so he can still consume oxygen. My father is a firefighter and EMT, so i got info from him and my prior knowledge. Anyway, make sure he is on his side, so the drool can leak out and he doesn't choke on it. I would STRONGLY, EXTREMEMLY, consult your veterniarian.
