Edit an answer after it's posted?
How do you do this? How is it fair?
I saw this happen lately & the answer was changed to agree with mine with a dictionary attachment. The main goal is to help others.
With a point system in place, there should be some guidelines. The majority of the answers were already there. Is it any wonder this person has 48% best answers?

If you can prove it all you can do is to report the user to the answers team but it is difficult it as you would have to find that user doing it repeatedly.
Yahoo made sure we couldn't do that with our questions but didn't change that.
They offered us the Edit and their goal was for us to add more, not replace our whole answer.
