Liza- I love Elizabeth, but Liza is so short and permanent. With Elizabeth you could call her Liza and if that doesn't fit you could call her by a different nickname. It also makes me think of Liza Minnelli
Cassandra- I loved this name for so long until I found that it means "entangler of men" and then I realized all the girls with the name that I know are perfect examples of the meaning.
Vivienne- I'm not sure why this spelling is getting so popular because it reminds me of Vienna Sausages. Vivian would be lovely though
Sydney- I love this name, but only for a boy. It's not horrible for a girl, but to me it sounds a bit too much like a distinguished gentleman's name.
Maggie- I love this as a nickname, but not as a given name. It doesn't sound like something she could grow into well. Magnolia, Magdalena, and Margaret are all lovely choices with Maggie as a nickname.

This is the best way to find a baby name!! Keep eliminating a few and end up with the ones you love!!
Take off Lanie, sounds like a child's name.
Take off Camille, sounds a bit odd.
Take off Mara, looks and sounds odd. Miri on the other hand is wonderful.
Take off Paige, I have never liked this name, it has always sounded odd to me
Take off Sophie, if you choose Sophia, Sophie can always be a nickname.

Cameron - Sounds too masculine. Every Cameron I've ever met has been a boy so I could never use it.
Lanie - I don't know why - it could be the spelling - but I don't like this name at all.
Paige - Every Paige I've ever met has been horrible.
Adele - Too much association with the singer.
Chloe - Too common. I know at least 10 Chloes.
