What is "Boxing Day"?
I see this holiday on calendars, but no one I know celebrates it- what is it and who celebrates it?

The UK and Ireland celebrates it. Boxing Day is a time to spend with family or friends, usually those not seen on Christmas Day itself. Many top football teams also play on Boxing Day.

It has something to do with the fact that in Canada, everyone's lease expires on the same day, and I don't know if it's still law or just tradition that causes that, but that day is Boxing Day, so named because everyone boxes their belongings for the move. You'll have to ask a Canadian to be sure, but that is what I once read.
