Nicely put together piece, great statistic and all true not a lie to be seen
Now I'm not knocking it fantastic achivment by our Bhoys......
but
they say 'earned' as we had to 'earn' the 4 points for qualifying into the group stages where as the all the other teams that were there bar Malaga were automatically given 4 pts since they got automatic entry.
Other teams also got a higher starting coefficent due to the country component
We are actually 16th highest as far as points total for the season so far.
Still more to earn however

No matter how unhealthy he's doing, as a celtic fan he has to remain until as a minimum summer season. Bringing a brand new manager in disjoints the whole approach. A brand new manager will also need his possess gamers and wont want Strachan's or Mowbray's which all in all could be a disaster.

I like this statistic very much indeed. However, it is a sobering thought to think that it was only ourselves that progressed out of those competing in Europe this season.
Again it shows a lack of grass roots development of any great depth, and one that the governing bodies should be addressing rather than ensuring all three bodies keep their jobs through cronyism.
As a Celtic fan, delighted. As a fan that wants to see Scottish football develop, quite worried.

Probably more points than like the last 3 years put together if you count all Scottish teams lol
But the problem is after an old firm team do well in Europe they usually bomb out next season due to shear expectation

It shows that it's a nothing statistic when you're runner up in your group and claim to be number one.
