I wouldn't have to drive (yipppeeee!), wouldn't have to hunt for a parking space (yeahhhh!) and I wouldn't have to pay parking fees:) Also wouldn't have to worry about tolls, jackass drivers who think they own the road, traffic jams, losing my keys, or my husband's back-seat driving!

We'd either re-invent them, or find a substitute.

If nothing else our roads would start to smell like _horse_ again, since cars originally replaced horses and horse-drawn carriages. So in a sense "cars", which are shorthand for _carriages_, would make a comeback even if the engine tech can't work anymore.

And you can also bet that some smart-aleck would still try bicycles and/or motorcycles, or perhaps sail-driven things. Humans are stubborn that way.

Source(s): It's not a question of being bright either--Edison tried to make a light bulb work off of electricity over 300 times, and failed, before he finally hit upon a successful way to make it work.

There would be alot of people commiting suicide and the ones that didn't would be stealing horses and buggies to ride every where because most have forgotten how to walk. And those who don't mind walking would be going behind the horses and buggies with a shovel and a close pin on their noses, shoveling the dung to the sides of the road. Then the environmentalist would be complaining about the dung destroying the environment and kill the horses that created it.

I sometimes wished that would happen. It's better for the enviornment if everyone still lived like the Amish.

If they had never existed, we would not know the difference.

People would walk and bike places I guess. Oh and there would be less green house gas emissions

It would be hard to get around, yet there would be less accidents, it could go either way from good to bad

I guess we would use Motorcycles, Trains, Planes, Boats and Scooters.

I assume you mean no other form of transportation as well? People would become stronger and leaner. Our race would die out much slower.
