Please answer and help me!?
I just realized that what I've been doing isn't right. My grades are not as good as they can be, and i really want to change. Let me start off, please answers any questions that i put on.
So last year i was a freshman in high school. In 8th grade, i took a state english exam and i was sick that day. I didn't do too great and last year i was placed in a 4 term algebra 1 class. Those 4 terms equal two years. My schedule last year was Spanish 2, English, Art Technology, Global, Algebra terms 1 and 2 of 4, and living environment (also called biology) +Gym and lunch periods. I had not and still haven't taken the earth science regents. I was fine with all my classes except algebra. All my friends had geometry except me. I dreaded on throughout that year and now to this year.
This year i am taking Chemistry, Algebra terms 3 and 4 of 4, Geometry 1 year only then the regents this June so basically a regular class, AP Global (actually called AP World History), Forensics year 1, English, and Spanish 3 (which is actually spanish 5 and 6) +lunch and gym.
My average last year at the end was a 92. This year my first marking period average was an 86. I was really disappointed in myself. My parents have yet to see that report card. I wanted to improve my grades so badly, and i did. I have excelled in everything in my opinion, except Geometry and English. I got a 74 on an english test because i was so stressed out about AP Global that i couldn't think. In geometry, the class is mainly about tests and so far for this marking period i got a 72 on our only test. How do i improve in both of these classes? In my opinion, since i get my report card on January 29th, I believe i have till somewhere around the 22nd of January to change my grades. In geometry i may have up to 2 more tests. What grades do i need on those tests if i seriously want to get a 85-90 on my report card in that class? Geometry is based mainly on our tests, but my teacher takes participation and other things into mind too. In english, i think ill just try to ace everything from now on.
After this, I've seriously started thinking about my future and that i really want to take harder classes. Can you take a look at my desires for my junior and senior class schedules and help me adjust it?
In my junior year i hope to take:
Physics honors
Trigonometry honors
Pre-Calculus honors
AP U.S. History
Forensics Year 2
English 11 Honors or AP English (can i take AP English?)
+ Gym (i want to take out my lunch period, is this possible? I never eat and all it does it get me home late from school by adding a period. What do i tell the counselor at school about this?)
- Is it possible to take Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus in the same year like that? I'm actually very good at math, i only slacked off in geometry accidentally, now i understand my mistakes. I really want to take both of those classes so i can take AP Calculus in my senior year. Also, i have no foreign language because i have no more spanish classes left to take besides AP which i choose not to,
In my senior year i want to take:
AP Calculus
AP Government
Forensics year 3
English or some type of AP english if there is such a class
+Gym and no lunch again
*I may possibly take AP Chemistry.
-If i don't take AP Chemistry, should i take AP Statistics with AP Calculus?
How do my schedules look? What should i add/remove/change? Could i get into Harvard or an Ivy League College if i change my act now?
I want to become a doctor, specializing in some field. As of now, im thinking of anesthesiology.
-Thank you all so much!

First of all, not eating at lunchtime is a terrible idea. I know from experience. My first semester of sophomore year, I didn't eat lunch at all, and I got all Bs. The next semester I utilized lunch as a time to eat and clear my mind, and I got Bs and As.
It really depends on where you go to school (as in what state). But I will try to answer the questions...
1) "How do I improve in Geometry and English?"
With Geometry, either you get it or you don't. It's a very visual math. Since you took Art Tech, it might help you a little. Most people are good at either Algebra or Geometry...I was pretty good at Algebra (although i hated it) and mediocre at Geometry (still hated it). Trig honors is an extremely difficult class, i am warning you. With English, you really just have to be able to read and analyze the material. I honestly don't really have very good advice for this question, sorry.
2) "What grades should I get on the next Geometry tests to get an 85-90 on my report card?"
To get an average of 85-90, assuming your participation/homework portion of the grade is good, you would have to get a 92-99 on your next 2 tests. Even if you got a 100 on both of your next tests, the highest grade you could get would still be 90. Being that 92 is a difficult score, I would brush up on all of your theorems and properties, and study a lot....Good luck!
3) I'm not sure if you can take AP English next year, you should check your high school website to see its requirements. Most schools will have a course map that shows what you need to take.
4) You should talk to your school counselor about removing lunch, but I highly doubt they would allow it. As I said before, it's a terrible idea.
5) I highly doubt you can take two math classes at the same time. It isn't allowed at my school. However, you should talk to your school counselor about it. You might be able to squeeze in some classes over the summer if you really want to get ahead.
Do you need to take gym in junior and senior year? At my school, you only need to take gym for 2 years.
6) I think you have a good plan that you should show to your counselor. I'm not sure if you could get into an ivy league school, but you have very ambitious plans and I think you can achieve it. Colleges look at more than just grades. If you can get great grades on the SAT tests (and all the other requirements) then I'm sure your chances aren't completely ruined from having not amazing grades in one semester. Don't forget, you still have time to bring your grades up.
I hope this helped! Especially since it took me about half an hour to type on an iPod....lol....I would really appreciate it if you gave me best answer...but most of all, good luck! I hope you are able to bring your grades up.
