Most zombies nature in most movies presented as hunger for flesh due to infection in their brain. To pick thinks may only signify that they are still in human state.

Hopefully when you turn into a zombie, you drop the gun and walk over it rather than carrying it. Zombies have one thing on their minds, brains, and not sighting a gun or pulling a trigger, so if you didn't remember to drop the shotgun when you turn you'd just be carrying a weapon to your new enemies.

Zombies do NOT exist, and if you did buy a shotgun it was not a licensed dealer, because NO adults believe in Zombies.

Not really. Zombies are barely capable of moving, nevermind weilding firearms. You'd probably just try to consume it, then blow you own head off :)
