Is it right in front of me?? Simple I'm sure...how to kill the music player on Samsung Galaxy 3?
I play music and when I pause it and close it the pause/play icon is up in the left hand corner on my notification bar...how do i just kill it altogether??? If I attempt to task kill it and then open other apps it seems to eventually disappear somehow, so I dunno how to just kill it when I'm done with it. Any advice or tips? I'm sure it's super simple, but i'm new to the phone! Thanks for any help!!

You have to actually "close" the music player. Open the app, press the menu key, and hit "end". If you just pause your music and go back to your home screen, you'll get notifications all day because your music is still running, it's just on pause.
