How do I solve for the indicated variable?

I'm really confused how this works. but the question is

a=F/m (find F)

then my teacher put the answer at the bottom: F=ma

How do I get to that answer?

    its just basic cross multiplication

    F/m = a/1

    multiply F with 1

    and multiply m with a

    F*1=m*a

    F=ma

    a=F/m

    F/m = a

    multiply both sides by m:

    F = ma
